Brian J. Weiss is a California native from San Luis Obispo and started working with computers as early as 1996 while still in high school. After graduating he worked for a small mom & pop computer shop while attending college focusing on computer & network services. A few years later, he left college to start his own IT Company initially working as an independent contractor before starting ITECH Solutions in 2005. ITECH Solutions started out as a break/fix IT company and has grown to a full-fledged managed IT service provider managing over 2000 devices primarily servicing the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.

In 2019, Brian J. Weiss was selected as “Top CEO of the Year" for 2019 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and awarded the “Innovator of the Year” Datto Gold Award for his outstanding leadership and commitment to his industry. Today Brian spends most of his time focusing keeping up with the latest security threats and protection helping keep clients and other MSP’s secure. Brian is also involved in several nonprofits and always looking for ways to give back to the community.

MARKETING & FINANCE MANAGER

Michelle manages finances and marketing for ITECH Solutions. A new addition to ITECH Solutions where she previously was a stay at home mom for 9 years helping raise Brian and Michelle's daughter Brielle. She has joined ITECH Solutions to become an essential part of the management team to help with growth and finances. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors riding bikes and camping, along with painting and crafting with her daughter Brielle.

James worked 5 years at Best Buy as a Geek Squad technician prior to working at ITECH. College coursework for computer and server maintenance and repair has enabled him to thrive in the IT industry, and helped to shape ITECH’s Help Desk into what it is today. James has been with ITECH Solutions since 2012 and leads our support team working with our client success manager to maintain and improve our professional services. During his off time, James enjoys playing retro video games and working on a YouTube channel about retro-gaming. He enjoys time with family and friends, his pets, and the outdoors.


Daniel Miltner

CLIENT SUCCESS MANAGER

Dan, originally from the Czech Republic, grew up in Santa Barbara, California, before moving to Avila Beach on the central coast. He holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and has been with ITECH since 2011 where he now manages client success to ensure our team delivers a consistent level of services striving to exceed client expectations. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, the beach, mountain biking, hiking, camping, reading, good whiskey, and occasional travel. Dan is an FAA licensed private pilot with complex/high performance endorsements.


Raelyn Petty

Raelyn works with accounting, payroll, and inventory. She keeps things running like a well-oiled machine. Our ITECH IT team counts on her for all their support needs. Raelyn loves her job and being a part of such a talented and fun team of great people!


David Tschoepe

PROJECT MANAGER

David graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and minors in Economics and Web Programming. During his two decade long career in serving the IT needs of small business, he has demonstrated his expertise in solving complex IT problems faced by small businesses every day. Currently David works as a Level III systems engineer and project manager. His responsibilities include IT consulting and recommendations, senior level support on servers, networks, software and systems, and managing IT projects, deployments and upgrades for clients.

Some of David's hobbies include reading, photography, mountain biking, road trips, Farmers Market, and attending concerts.


Frank Shafer

Frank has been working with computers in a professional capacity for 15 years, and his career has given him a broad depth of experience. He works comfortably on a variety of server / workstation platforms, including Microsoft, Linux, and Apple. Frank splits his time between after hours maintenance and tasks, day to day operations, and assisting the Project Manager with migrations or other high level projects.

Some of Frank's interests include reading, continuous learning, percussion, scuba, and travelling. In fact, Frank works remotely for ITECH in the beautiful state of Ohio!

Garrett has been fiddling around with computer hardware and software since as far back as he can remember. Building and maintaining computers, along with PC gaming are Garrett’s passions. In his spare time, he enjoys anything to do with computers and computer games. He also brews his own craft beer and enjoys the craft beer that comes out of the central coast, as well as all around the world.

As a System Engineer, Michael works to troubleshoot and maintain client networks, trains clients on how to use hardware and software, and provides on-site installation and maintenance. When he is not helping our clients take their businesses to the next level, Michael’s hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling, and reading.


Thomas Guardiola

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Thomas started his technical career at the helpdesk of a large insurance company on the east coast, working with 1000+ end users. Since then, he has learned a great deal and has become experienced with everything IT, as it relates to both small businesses, as well as large corporations. He has a hunger to learn and gain as much knowledge about the IT field as is possible. Thomas enjoys gaming on both PC and consoles. He loves the outdoors, hiking, and camping. He is also an avid craft beer enthusiast.

HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Steve, in the last 20 years, has worked for 3 different Internet Service Providers, becoming a network and security engineer. With that experience, he found a home at a local Federal Bank as their Network Administrator and Security Officer. Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, CA, he graduated from San Luis Obispo School. He has three sons, whom he cannot beat at video games anymore.


Matthew Lackie

HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Matt worked in IT support at the Women’s Shelter Program in San Luis Obispo for over 15 years and helped setup, maintain, and troubleshoot computers. He once ran a private business that offered services for remote and onsite troubleshooting, computer repair, and virus/malware removal. Matt enjoys all things music related, playing guitar, and learning new songs. He loves hanging out with his kids and keeping them busy, as well as Barbequing with his friends.

Chris has had a love for computers since his first computer repair class in high school. He graduated from Cuesta College with a degree in computer networking technology and in psychology in May 2017. He has also earned his CompTIA certifications in A+, Network+ and Security+. He plans on continuing his education while working to earn further certifications in network administration. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and camping. He also enjoys medieval history, and is an amateur sword fighter and armorer.
