Brian Weiss

CEO

Brian was born and raised on the central coast and started working on computers as early as 1995, where while attending Atascadero High School, he setup one of their first computer networks. He then studied computers at Cuesta College while working at a computer repair shop before starting ITECH Solutions in 2005. Brian now focuses on the future of ITECH and technology to ensure our clients are receiving the best products and services possible. When not steering the ITECH ship, Brian enjoys time with his family and friends camping, traveling, working around the house and volunteering for local nonprofit organizations.

Daniel Miltner

Vice President of Operations

Dan, originally from the Czech Republic, grew up in Santa Barbara, California, before moving to Avila Beach on the central coast. He holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and is a Tier III Network Administrator. Dan contributes to and implements the vision of ITECH’s CEO. He manages ITECH operations and a great team of talented individuals. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, the beach, hiking, camping, reading, good whiskey, and occasional travel. Dan is an FAA licensed private pilot with complex/high performance endorsements.

David Tschoepe

Tier III Server Administrator

David graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and minors in Economics and Web Programming. During his two decade long career in serving the IT needs of small business, he has demonstrated his expertise in solving complex IT problems faced by small businesses every day. Currently David works as a Level III systems engineer and project manager. His responsibilities include IT consulting and recommendations, senior level support on servers, networks, software and systems, and managing IT projects, deployments and upgrades for clients.

Some of David's hobbies include reading, photography, mountain biking, road trips, Farmers Market, and attending concerts.

Garrett Akin

Tier III Server Administrator

Garrett has been fiddling around with computer hardware and software since as far back as he can remember. Building and maintaining computers, along with PC gaming are Garrett’s passions. In his spare time, he enjoys anything to do with computers and computer games. He also brews his own craft beer and enjoys the craft beer that comes out of the central coast, as well as all around the world.

Roy Thomassen

Tier II Network Administrator

The first network operating system that Roy supported was Novell Netware 3.10. He has supported an IFR training program for general aviation pilots as well. Roy has been working in the IT field in various capacities for many years. In his off time he enjoys boating, gardening, and small woodworking projects.

Michael Rives

Tier II Network Administrator

As a System Engineer, Michael works to troubleshoot and maintain client networks, trains clients on how to use hardware and software, and provides on-site installation and maintenance. When he is not helping our clients take their businesses to the next level, Michael’s hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling, and reading.

James Weeks

Tier 1 Help Desk Technician

James worked 5 years at Best Buy as a Geek Squad technician prior to working at ITECH. College coursework for computer and server maintenance and repair has enabled him to thrive in the IT industry, and helped to shape ITECH’s Help Desk into what it is today. During his off time, James enjoys playing retro video games and working on a YouTube channel about retro-gaming. He enjoys time with family and friends, his pets, and the outdoors.

Matthew Lackie

Tier 1 Help Desk Technician

Matt worked in IT support at the Women’s Shelter Program in San Luis Obispo for over 15 years and helped setup, maintain, and troubleshoot computers. He once ran a private business that offered services for remote and onsite troubleshooting, computer repair, and virus/malware removal. Matt enjoys all things music related, playing guitar, and learning new songs. He loves hanging out with his kids and keeping them busy, as well as Barbequing with his friends.

Thomas Guardiola

Tier 1 Help Desk Technician

Thomas started his technical career at the helpdesk of a large insurance company on the east coast, working with 1000+ end users. Since then, he has learned a great deal and has become experienced with everything IT, as it relates to both small businesses, as well as large corporations. He has a hunger to learn and gain as much knowledge about the IT field as is possible. Thomas enjoys gaming on both PC and consoles. He loves the outdoors, hiking, and camping. He is also an avid craft beer enthusiast.

Raelyn Morales

Office Manager

Raelyn works with accounting, payroll, and inventory. She keeps things running like a well-oiled machine. Our ITECH IT team counts on her for all their support needs. Raelyn loves her job and being a part of such a talented and fun team of great people!
